From the 2025/26 winter season onwards, the state-of-the-art 8-seater gondola lift on Katschberg will provide even more comfort, safety and riding pleasure. It connects the Katschberg centre with the popular Aineck – reliably, comfortably and regardless of the weather.
With ergonomic seats, weatherproof cabins and high wind stability, guests enjoy a relaxed ride that enriches every skiing and winter experience. From the Alpenhaus, you can reach the new lift in just a few minutes. The new Almbahn combines state-of-the-art technology with responsible use of resources. An energy-efficient drive system, intelligent capacity management and sustainable building materials for the newly designed valley station make it a showcase project in terms of environmental awareness. The cabins in the fresh ‘Katschi design’ not only bring functionality, but also a touch of style and alpine charm to the mountain.
With this new construction, Katschbergbahnen is sending a strong signal for quality and further development. The ski resort is thus future-proofed and the new lift becomes an adventure lift that uniquely combines comfort, sustainability and skiing pleasure. The combination of high-altitude slopes and comprehensive snow-making ensures reliable snow conditions throughout the winter season at Katschberg.
